Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the age of 14. She was a kickboxer, boxer as well as wrestling, before making her debut appearance as an amateur at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd had an amazing three-fight winning streak in Ultimate Reno Combat. In the three fights, she defeated her opponent right in the first round. Ladd returned to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian as well as Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia dominated Aspen and defeated her in a unanimous decision, putting the mark of a loss on Aspen's record in her amateur. Ladd was victorious in her subsequent match against Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen turned professional in 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11 was her first fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the the first round via TKO. Invicta Combat Championships 16, Aspen won the next match with Amanda Cooper through a second-round Armbar submission. Aspen employed her skills in wrestling to take out McGill with a TKO during the third-round (elbows & punches). Aspen next faced Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) in the weight of a "catchweight"(138.1lb), because Ladd was unable to put on the weight. Aspen, however, defeated Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC 21, she was victorious in her last fight for the promotion via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She was a step ahead of Lina and pounded her with a ground-and-pound to pick up a second-round TKO victory. Her dominance continued and she won a much more convincing victory in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger at UFC 229 Ladd was able to defeat Evinger within the first few seconds and received a bonus for her performance during the night. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee She fought Sijara Eubanks to win her first major fight. The two fighters put on an intense battle that concluded with Ladd taking a unanimous win and both fighters receiving an award known as the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie was able to finish the fight in just 16 seconds and stop Ladd and her streak. Yana Knitskaya in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, was defeated by Randamie. As a last-minute replacement to her UFC bout, she fought Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. The fight was unanimously decided against her.
