The actress initially refused the part because the character didn't seem to be strong enough. Glen came up with a completely new character to play for her featuring Sheba being a more formidable role model. After reading the first 25 pages of the script The Living Legend she accepted instantly. The series lasted one season. She was in Joyride (1977) which was a film that she co-starred in and was in the film with Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith, Robert Carradine.
